Students build apoun previous knowledge learned about earthquakes and how they are caused to design a structure that can with stand one. Building codes and structural forces are taken into consideration when building the "Earthquake Towers". Students compete in a class competition to determine who can build the tower that can with stand the highest ricther scale rating from our tester.
