In class students simulate the sport of sumo wrestling in a engineering fashion. Each designs and build a remote controlled car that competes in a sumo wrestling class competition. The car that is able to stay in the arena the longest is declared the winner. Students use many engineering concepts such as gear ratios, grip, and, center of gravity to make their cars better than the others.
